Payments All fees are paid on a weekly basis unless otherwise arranged with the front office. All fees are to be paid by money order for the 1st 30 days of treatment then you may use a personal check. The cost for methadone maintenance is $90.00 per week. The cost for detox is $95.00 per week. If you think you will not be able to make a payment, you must discuss with the front office or your counselor prior to your payment day so a plan can be made. If you run up a balance equal to 2 weeks of payments, you will be put on a financial contract. An office member will talk with you to come up with a plan for you to pay off your balance. If you do not follow the contract, it may lead to a financial detox and discharge from the clinic.

Insurance ARI takes NHP Mass, PCC of Mass, NHP RI, Medicaid, United Health Rite Care and Blue Chip. If you have any of these insurances, please speak with a member of our office staff so they can verify your insurance and find out what parts of your treatment program will be covered. NOTE: Patients that are covered by Mass Health will not have any coverage for this program, however, you can switch to NHP Mass (Standard) , which covers outpatient methadone treatment.

Fines ARI will assess your account $25.00 for a “bounced check”. In addition, you will no longer be eligible to pay by check.

Blood Work There is a $25.00 fee for annual blood work. If Hepatitis C test is required, it will be an additional $25.00 for that test. Blood work is required for any patient with a history of IV drug use in the past 12 months. Blood work, will be offered to everyone, but if you do not meet the above criteria, you may sign a waiver declining the test. All patients will have blood work drawn upon intake. There is no charge for your admission blood work.

Confirmation of Drug Screen If a patient has a positive drug screen and they feel it is inaccurate, they have the right to request a confirmation test at their own expense. You must pay for the test prior to it being ordered. Initial Confirmation: $15.00 Secondary Confirmation: $35.00 If the confirmation test returns with a false positive, the patient’s account will be credited for the cost of the test.

Additional Urine Screens There is a $10.00 fee per additional urine screen (over the one random one per month). These screens may be needed to monitor illicit drug use, during detoxification, or at patient request.
